The administration of Kismayo port, in Jubbaland State of Somalia, has dismissed reports that claimed Diamond Sky ship carrying charcoal has left the port of Kismayo.
The Nepalese ship docked at the port of Kismayo on the 13th of this month, carrying a shipment of cement from Iran.
Ibrahim Hassan Haji, a representative of the shipping company, denied the allegations that said the ship was carrying charcoal at the port of Kismayo.
Kismayo Port Manager Ahmed Haji Aden said there was no cargo on board the ship and that the reports were false and self-serving.
