Somali Security Forces on Saturday responded swiftly after terrorist car bomb attack at the Ministry of Interior and Federalism Affairs in Mogadishu, SONNA reported.
Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Dahir Mohamud Gele confirmed that the terrorist attacks caused casualties, but did not identify the number.
“Al-Shabab terrorists did their popular acts to kill, injure people and destroy property, the security forces killed all the fighters on the spot, we are gathering the information relating to the exact number of death and injuries of the attack, we will brief you later”, Mr. Gele said.
The Minister sent condolence to the friends and families, whose loved ones, perished in the attack, saying the Government would help victims by seeking foreign health care from friendly countries.
Al-Shabab militants claimed the responsibility of the terrorist car bomb attack at Ministry of Interior of the Federal of Somalia.
