The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, H.E. Amb. Ahmed Isse Awad on Tuesday received in his office at the ministry a copy of the credentials of His Excellency Mr. Mehmet Yilmaz, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey to the Federal Republic of Somalia.
The minister exchanged views on several files with the new ambassador and wished him success in his duties, praising the eternal historical relations between the two brotherly countries. He expressed his appreciation for Ankara’s efforts in enhancing bilateral relations.
For his part, Ambassador Mehmet Yilmaz stressed that he will work for the benefit of the two countries and the two brotherly peoples to promote and develop bilateral relations in all different issues and fields.
