The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, H.E. Amb. Ahmed Isse Awad, held a breakfast banquet in honor of H.E. Mr. Mehmet Yilmaz, Turkish Ambassador to Somalia, and H.E. Dr. Olgan Bekar, the new Special Envoy for talks between the Federal Government of Somalia and the Somaliland Administration.
Turkey has been the main sponsor and facilitator of the talks since its official launch in 2012.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation received the Turkish Ambassador and Special Envoy at his residence in the capital where they exchanged views on the most important regional and international issues and topics of common interest.
