The Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of the Federal Government of Somalia, HE Abdiwahab Ugas Hussein Ugas Khalif has arrived in Riyadh, the capital of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Minister was received at King Khalid International Airport by Saudi Deputy Minister of Social Affairs, Saudi officials and the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Somalia to Saudi Arabia, Ambassador Salim Ma’ow Haji.
The purpose of the minister’s visit to Saudi Arabia is to attend the Arab League Ministerial Conference, which opens in Riyadh with the Ministers of Labor and Social Affairs of the Arab League.
The three-day conference will discuss Community Development and the impact of COVID-19.
The minister will also hold meetings with Saudi officials and his counterparts attending the conference.
