Africa already has proven frontline/survivor led models that are working to end Female Genital Mutilation (FGM). The urgent question is whether the world will fund them.
This Sunday in Nairobi, survivors and African women leaders will take centre stage at Fashion for Change, a platform for challenging stigma, empowering women, and amplifying the movement to end FGM.

The event comes as attention turns to locally led solutions and survivor leadership – and will precede the launch of an unprecedented new pooled fund backing the global movement to end FGM.
Seeded with a major commitment from Wallace Global Fund, the fund seeks to raise $100 million to accelerate efforts to end FGM, particularly frontline and survivor-led work that remains chronically underfunded.
