The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Abdisalam Ali Abdi, received the copies of credentials of four newly appointed Ambassadors to Somalia: H.E. Dr. Madou Diallo of the Republic of Mali, H.E. Danlami Ibrahim of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, H.E. Aqsa Nawaz of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and H.E. Aung Min Oo of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
The presentations formally marked the beginning of each Ambassador’s diplomatic assignment in Somalia, following the Federal Government of Somalia’s approval of their appointments. The Minister welcomed the Ambassadors and reaffirmed Somalia’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation with their respective countries.
