Somali Air Forces on Thursday marked the 58th anniversary of their foundation, holding very colorful occasion of the celebration and birth of this army who are part of Somali armed forces, SONNA reported.
Minister of Defense of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Mohamed Sh. Abdirahman Mursal attended the anniversary and sent congratulation on this day to the air forces, their wives and children, saying the Government is committed to reorganize and rebuild the Somali Air Forces.
Air Force Commander, Gen. Mohamud Sheikh Ali, Somali National Army Chief, Gen. Abdiweli Jama Warsame and other army officials and gusets attended the occassion today according to SONNA.
Somali Air Forces was founded on February 15, 1960
