President of federal republic of Somalia H.E, Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo has received Somali doctors from Mogadishu’s Erdogan hospital who are now taking further specializations at Turkish hospitals in Istanbul.
President Farmajo, who is in his official visit in the brotherly country of Turkey, have told the junior doctors to benefit from this opportunity and study hard to take care of the in needed people for the health service in the country specially during COVID-19 pandemic.
He encouraged them to stand for reshaping the country’s health sector after completing their courses.
During the meeting, the president also shared with the doctors about the significance of the opportunity that was offered by the Turkish government and to take advantage in order to serve and provide health service to the people of Somalia.
“We have immense health service needs in our country, people and government are waiting from you for the knowledge that you have learnt to serve them, and to avoid what some students do who went abroad for educational purpose and then migrate,” said the president.
On their side, the Somali specialists thanked the president for receiving them well, and they shared their commitment to learn hard and promised that they would serve for their nation in the future.
