The Consultative meeting in which officials of the Somali Federal Government of Somalia and Regional leaders had in Mogadishu concluded today on Sunday and agreed to all issues discussed during their session in the past nine days, SONNA reported.
The Leaders further discussed politics, security, Federal issues, election issues in 2020, reviewing provisional constitution, development projects and humanitarian aid.
President of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Mohamed Abdulahi Farmajo was chairing the meeting at the state house that started on October 28 and ended today, November 5, 2017.
Prime Minister of Somalia, H.E. Hassan Ali Kheyre, his deputy, Mahdi Mohamed Guled,Puntland State President, Abdiweli Mohamed Ali, Galmudug State President, Ahmed Duale Gele, Hirshabelle State President, Mohamed Abdi Ware, Southwest State President, Sharif Hassan Sh. Aden, Jubbaland State president, Ahmed Mohamed Islam, Minister of Interior, Federal and reconciliation, Abdi Farah Juha and Mogadishu mayor and governor of Benadir regional Administration attended the meeting and issued an agreed communique.
Building integrated Somali National Army, starting massive operation against Al-Shabaab militants across the country and the provisional constitution were major areas that the leaders were talking about during their presence here.
